After a period of growth, the current Management Team of media agency STROOM, consisting of Samantha Catsburg (Managing Director) and Martijn Jaartsveld (Strategy Director) will be expanded from April 2023.
Marieke van den Hoek (Communications Director), will be responsible for clients in Amsterdam, Matthijs Kloezeman (Communications Director) for clients in Rotterdam, and Vincent Marquenie (Digital Lead) responsible for the digital division of both locations.
After a period of organic growth with new business wins such as Dille&Kamille, Hero, PwC and Playmobil, plus the merger with De Media Maatschap, a strong medium-sized full-service media agency was created, consisting of around 35 employees. The team consists mainly of media consultants and campaign specialists, complemented by brand and marcom expertise.
STROOM stands for "Energy for Growth". The company offers strong local expertise and distinguishes itself from the large (international) agencies through closer and more intensive cooperation with the client. The triangle of client, advertising and media agency is leading in this, with short lines resulting in long relationships. Clients such as De Hypotheker, CêlaVíta and CliniClowns, for instance, have been with the agency for more than 10 years. The agency has offices in both Rotterdam and Amsterdam, facilitating national coverage for both clients and colleagues.
